Minimarket GS79 Point of Sale
A web point of sale for a minimarket, from checkout to profit reports.
About the Project
Minimarket GS79 is a grocery wholesale store that used to record sales by hand. The owner needed a point of sale that was easy to use on the store computer and could also track stock and profit without recounting in a ledger.
We built a web-based point of sale with two sides: a cashier screen for serving customers, and an admin panel for the store owner.
Key Features
- Cashier screen: Products are shown by category with search, and go into the cart with one click.
- Payment and receipt: The total, cash paid, and change are calculated automatically, and the receipt can be printed right away.
- Low stock monitoring: Products below their minimum stock appear on a dedicated page so they can be reordered quickly.
- Admin dashboard: A summary of transactions, products, categories, and staff, plus the lowest stock and latest transactions.
- Data management: Manage products with purchase and selling prices, categories, and staff accounts.
- Sales and profit reports: Reports by product, category, and date range, including profit from the margin between purchase and selling prices.
Outcome
Store transactions are recorded automatically and receipts can be printed for customers. The owner can check low stock and sales and profit reports any time from the admin panel.
